What is mast photography?
The sales and marketing of a property can greatly benefit from aerial photography by allowing an elevated view of the surroundings in which the property lies. Compared to a ground level photo the property will convey a true and detailed perspective of the property prior to viewing. It is also ideal for golf clubs, sporting events, archeology, building surveys, corporate photos etc.
How it works
The technology used to achieve these unique photos is highly advanced giving top quality results and can be set-up in less than 15 minutes. A camera is elevated up to 50ft using a pneumatic telescopic mast. Once elevated the operator has full remote control of the cameras rotation, tilt and zoom whilst being able to instantly view the image from the ground on a colour LCD monitor for precise picture composition before the picture is taken. A computer laptop is used to adjust the camera settings and take the final image which, is downloaded immediately using special software. The process is simple and is usually carried out in three distinct steps:
- We discuss the venue, the type of photos required and arrange a place to meet over the phone
- Once on site, we erect the mast and take a series of photos from various heights and angles
- Download photos which can then be burned to disc, sent via e-mail or enhanced and printed
